Two leading lights in the domain of international safety culture and leadership have joined forces to merge their respective operations to create RyderMarshSharman.
RyderMarsh was founded in 1994 by Dr Tim Marsh CPsychol CFIOSH SFIIRSM and over the last 21 years has transformed the safety culture of hundreds of organisations around the world across a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Utilities and Transportation. This track record of helping clients design, implement and sustain robust people-focussed processes to reduce workplace injuries and incidents has earned RyderMarsh the reputation as the world leader in the field of behavioural safety. Since the early 1990s Dr Marsh has personally been at vanguard of thought leadership in the field, having authored more than 300 articles and conference papers on the subject. His latest book ’Talking Safety’ is currently the biggest-selling book on safety behaviour.
Andrew Sharman MSc MA CFIOSH FIIRSM FinstLM has enjoyed a career in safety leadership spanning 20 years and operations in more than 100 countries. He has led safety improvement for several Fortune 500 / FTSE 100 industry-leaders such as Heineken, RBS Group, and Owens-Illinois. Andrew’s own consulting business, formed in 2013 and specialising in safety leadership and behavioural change, has supported a wide range of commercial clients around the world in sectors including Oil & Gas, Chemical, Logistics, Mining, FMCG and Construction as well as a host of international NGOs including the World Health Organzation and the United Nations. Andrew is the former Vice Chairman of the Board of IOSH. His new book, entitled ‘From Accidents to Zero’ is the fastest-selling book on safety culture of the 21st century.
